Event Fundraisers

Walkathon
We have just one schoolwide fund-raising event each year that requires student involvement and participation. The proceeds from this event will be for new uniforms for our after school sports teams and a music and art program for all grades based on CA State Standards. We have used the money from previous walkathons for items such as playground equipment, the new track and field, multi-purpose court, technology and "extras" not covered through tuition.

In addition, our walkathon is a wonderful community event and an opportunity to focus on physical fitness and teamwork. We always have fun, too!

This year the Walkathon is scheduled for November 9, 2007 at Lake Murray at 10:30a.m.

Big 10
The Big 10 is scheduled for March 8, 2008! Mark your calendar for this major fundraising event. Sponsored by the Academy School Board, this is the largest single fundraising event hosted each year. Enjoy an evening filled with dancing, dinner, silent auction, oral auction, a 50/50 drawing, and the Big 10 drawing for $10,000!

Big 10 proceeds contribute to the quality of education we have come to know at St. Martin of Tours Academy. With a variety of ways to make a donation, this fundraiser joins our business, school, and parish communities together.

Donations! Donations! Donations! Donations are the heart of our fundraiser. Letters have already been sent to last year's donors and new potential donors for their participation. As you go about your daily activities, please ask the businesses that you patronize to make a donation to our school's fundraiser.

We are always looking for sponsors to underwrite portions of the event. There are many expenses that must be met such as: decorations, basket materials, entertainment, printing, postage, equipment rental, and casino tables. Sponsorship levels are available from $300 and above.

Each sponsor will receive a complimentary draw down ticket and be listed as a sponsor in all promotional material. Sponsors at the $400 and $500+ levels will also receive free advertising in the program.
